Khopra Danda
The Khopra Danda trek is a relatively new and less crowded alternative to the popular Ghorepani Poon Hill trek in the Annapurna region.
The trek provides panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Nilgiri. You will also pass through traditional Gurung and Magar villages with their unique cultures and lifestyles.
The main highlight is reaching the Khopra Danda ridge at 3,660m/12.000ft, offering breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. A challenging but rewarding side trip to the sacred Khayer Lake (4,600m/15.290ft) is also possible.
